Confluence Park is a living laboratory that allows visitors to gain a greater understanding of the ecotypes of the South Texas region and the function of the San Antonio River watershed. As project manager for the San Antonio River Foundation, Stuart Allen directed the park’s vision and design, coordinating the desires of the client with the efforts of architects, designers, contractors and stakeholders. Bridge produced a photographic document of the park’s construction.
A project 8 years in the making, we are incredibly proud to be a part of Confluence’s story. Confluence Park received AIA’s Institute Honor Award for Architecture in 2019, the highest award for architecture in the United States.
